We are still in our Early Bird enrollment period! Early Bird enrollment period: through April 20, 2024 SOLOISTS INTENSIVE (Ages 8-12): 9:00 am- 3:30 pm Each week-long summer intensive provides a comprehensive immersion into the empowering world of dance and all that it encompasses. While our intensives are ballet-focused, they also serve as a platform for dancers to explore new genres, artistic expression, performance elements, and the cultural context of ballet and the performing arts. Through daily full technique classes and engaging workshops, the possibilities for growth are endless. At week’s end, all we have learned and worked on is showcased in an informal in-studio performance for camp/intensive families. In addition to all classes dance, dancers have the opportunity to work hands-on and fully express their unique artistic perspectives through helping to create performance backdrops, costumes, and more! Participants additionally have opportunity to recharge and relax with lunch & snack breaks, social time, and occasional outdoor time at nearby Norwood Park and Bethesda Pool. BALLET THIS WEEK Alice's Adventures in Wonderland EXPERIENCE/LEVELS We welcome dancers of all levels, from little to no experience through advanced dancers. On the first day of the week, dancers are placed in class levels that align with their abilities to ensure they can thrive and get the most out of the week. When evaluating levels for dancers, we consider both their technical proficiency and age. While technique classes are taken within individual skill levels, all participants come together for additional workshops and social time, allowing the chance to learn appropriately, yet still enjoy time with all friends old and new.  To view FAQ, please visit our Camps & Intensives page.
