Our Ballet 1B class is a ballet class designed for 6-7 year old dancers, both with and without ballet experience. Class follows the order of a regular ballet class with a warm-up, ballet barre, center work, and across the floor. This beginning level incorporates learning proper alignment, presentation, musicality, and basic technique. Stretching and strengthening work is introduced. Our beginning levels are taught professionally, while still being engaging and fun! Summer 2024: MINI SESSION 2: Monday, July 22- Sunday, August 18. This 45-min class meets Tuesdays at 5:30 pm during our summer Mini Session 2. Age requirements: Please register according to the dancer's age as of June 23, 2024. All Pre-Academy classes are open enrollment, meaning they do not require any prerequisites or approval outside of age requirements. **Quick note for 6-year old dancers: dancers aged 6 have two level options within our programs. Ballet 1B (ages 6-7) is in our Pre-Academy, and is recommended for rising/attending first graders. Both classes are open enrollment. Ballet 1A (ages 5-6) is in our Primary Program, and is recommended for rising/attending Kindergarteners. Tuition: Class has been prorated to reflect where we are in the session- registration is rolling over the summer and does not close, even if the session has begun! A $15 registration fee is included in the total tuition. Drop off: Our classes are all drop-off classes- please read our policies to learn more about procedure and feel free to email us any questions! An automatic confirmation email is sent to you upon registration for this class. The email you use to register is what we will use for all confirmations and studio/class communications!
