Advanced Beginning Ballet

Our Advanced Beginning classes build upon prior levels at a faster pace, incorporating increasingly complex combinations and more intricate movement sequences. This class completes a full ballet barre, center, and across the floor. Emphasis continues to be placed on strength, musicality, and incorporating artistry into movement. The Advanced Beginning level caters to dancers with proficiency at barre, and comfortable in center, who are seeking to improve and expand upon existing levels of technique. This class is ideal for dancers with solid working knowledge of technique and terminology, who have regularly attended classes in recent years and/or a more extensive technical ballet background from their adolescent years. Advanced dancers comfortable en pointe are welcome to participate in any portion of this class in pointe shoes, with instructor approval.
