AEP COVID-19 Protocol
We first want to take a moment to say thank you for your continued support during these extraordinary times. It means the absolute world that you trust us with our safety guidelines and continue to dance with us no matter what the world brings! Please read to learn about what our studio is doing to keep our dancers, staff, and environment as safe as it can be.

Please read the entirety of this protocol to ensure you understand and are able to observe every rule.
Vaccinations
-
All our teachers, staff, and contractors are required to be fully vaccinated and keep up with CDC booster guidelines.
-
All dancers aged 12 and older are required to be vaccinated and submit proof of vaccination to participate in our classes (exception: proof of medical exemption). Secure link to submit vaccination proof is sent upon registration.
-
Dancers aged 2- 11 are strongly encouraged to get vaccinated but are not required to do so to dance with our studio. A secure link to submit vaccination proof will be sent upon registration to all dancers, and those vaccinated are also encouraged to submit!
Masking
Masking is optional at our studio. This applies to students, guardians, and instructors.
Illness
If you are presenting with symptoms of COVID-19 or have tested positive, you must stay home until you have completed the appropriate quarantine. If you are not healthy enough to attend school, you are not healthy enough to attend ballet, too.
We will communicate with you any updates we receive on illnesses that affect the running of our classes.

Quarantine/Isolation
Those who test positive for COVID-19 or have a known exposure and are presenting symptoms are required to quarantine before returning to classes. We are following the CDC policy that dancers must stay home for 5 days. Dancers may return to class after these 5 days if certain health conditions are met (i.e. a negative test or improving symptoms) but must wear an N95 or KN95 mask for another 5 days, to complete their 10-day quarantine.
Hand sanitizing
We have hand sanitizing locations throughout the studio. Teachers provide hand sanitizer to all dancers upon entering the classroom.
