All ages 18+
Our Adult Program offers classes for the complete beginner to advanced dancers. Our adult ballet classes are completely non-competitive and for absolutely everybody. The only competition is with yourself, to learn, grow, and excel. It is NEVER too late to learn dance! We offer adult classes for all experience levels, from beginning to advanced dancers. Whatever your movement level or dancing goals are, we have a class for you.
Classes offered include Ballet, Pointe, Senior classes (70+), and more. All classes in our adult program are open enrollment, meaning they do not require a placement class to attend. Please send us a message if you have any questions regarding which class might be best for you!
Registration for our adult classes are with a class punch pass, or as a one time drop-in.
Appropriate for absolute beginners with no experience. We will start from the beginning to learn the basics of technique, alignment, positions, and terminology. Brand-new dancers should begin by taking this class before switching to our other beginning levels! All exercises are able to be modified depending on the dancers in class- if you have a limitation or injury, please be sure to let your teacher know so that they can adjust exercises for you.
Appropriate for beginners with minimal experience, dancers who have not taken class since childhood, and dancers who would like to slow things down and really focus on their technique. We continue to emphasize technique, alignment, artistry, and creating a solid foundation that can be built upon! All exercises are able to be modified depending on the dancers in class- if you have a limitation or injury, please be sure to let your teacher know so that they can adjust exercises for you.
Dancers in this level are still more or less beginners, but have a working knowledge of technique and terminology. This level still focuses on correct movement and building a strong foundation, but begins to move at a slightly faster pace as dancers become more comfortable. All exercises are able to be modified depending on the dancers in class- if you have a limitation or injury, please be sure to let your teacher know so that they can adjust exercises for you.
For dancers who have a working knowledge of ballet terminology and technique. Students in this level have attended ballet classes regularly in recent years or throughout adolescence. This class moves faster-paced with longer combinations, as dancers are more comfortable with movement. More emphasis on artistry is placed with more advanced use of port de bras and epaulement.
For adults interested in gaining strength, dancing en pointe in the future for the first time, or getting back on their pointe shoes for the first time in a while. Dancers focus on strength in feet and ankles, proper alignment, and technique necessary to dance en pointe safely and beautifully. This class should typically be taken in addition to attending regular technique classes.
A class designed specifically for senior adults. This class is appropriate for dancers of all differing levels of physical abilities! This class is designed specifically for older dancers with exercises that can be modified, even for those who need to sit to perform. Emphasis on artistry and musicality. Dancers will leave with confidence, better posture, and more strength!
